The zero tolerance law the is for anyone age 21 and under must have no more alcohol in their system then a BAC Level of .02. 'Per Se' BAC level is .08.  License suspension for 1st offense is 91 days.  License suspension for 2nd offense is 1 year.  License suspension for 3rd offense is 2 years.

There is an open alcohol container law that is for both driver and passengers.  Under the implied consent law if suspected of DUI you must submit to a breath, blood, or urine sample if refused mandatory license suspension is the result.  You can face an enhanced penalty if you refuse to take a sample, if minors were in the vehicle at the time, speeding, traffic accident, a blood alcohol level of .18, and previous convictions.

Possible ignition interlock may be installed in your vehicle that is hooked up to the ignition.  The machine checks for alcohol on the driver.  The driver must continually blow into the machine in order to keep the car in motion and start the car.   Mandatory assessment of the offenders drinking level is done and if found to be dependent on alcohol then treatment would follow.  Participation is required in order to restore driving rights.  There is mandatory jail time after second offense and possible vehicle confiscation.  After 30 days the offender can apply for special hardship and may be able to restore limited driving privileges while still under suspension.
